Mechanical Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with insulation materials such as mineral wool, foam glass, calcium silicate, and fiberglass
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, and fitting metal cladding using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read construction drawings and work with minimal supervision.
• TESDA NC2 -Certification in insulation or cladding installation (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install insulation materials on pipes, vessels, and ducts according to specifications
• Install metal cladding (aluminum, galvanized, or stainless steel) over insulation for mechanical protection and weatherproofing.
• Apply insulation materials using hand tools, adhesives, bands, or wire.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, insulation schedules, and project specifications.
• Perform site preparation and surface cleaning before applying insulation.
• Seal joints, seams, and openings to ensure insulation integrity and prevent heat loss or moisture intrusion.
• Repair or replace damaged insulation and cladding as required.
• Follow safety guidelines for working at heights, in confined spaces, or with hazardous materials.
• Coordinate with other trades and report progress or issues to supervisors
