PASTA CHEF

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a passport.
• At least 2 years work experience as pasta chef.
• Can communicate in English language.
• Proven experience as a pasta chef or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of pasta types, ingredients, and cooking methods
• Ability to create new pasta dishes and recipes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with other kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Create and prepare pasta dishes according to the restaurant’s menu.
• Inspect and ensure the quality of ingredients used in the pasta dishes.
• Develop new pasta dishes and suggest menu improvements.
• Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Train and guide junior chefs and kitchen staff on pasta preparation techniques.
• Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques related to pasta preparation and cooking.
