PAPER BAG OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of at least 3 years working experience as Paper Bag Operator in a similar field.
• High School or Vocational Graduate will be accepted.
• Effective communication with other Production team member to coordinate operation.
• Understanding of basic machine mechanics & how to troubleshoot minor maintenance task
• Keen ability to close monitor production process and correct quality defects.
• Knowledge in paper feeding mechanism and adjustment.
• Familiarity with different paper bag sizes and styles.
• Ability to stand for extended period, repeat repetitive motions, lift and handling paper rolls.
• Skilled in proper bag dimension, sealing and alignment

Responsibilities:

• To maintain quality standards and general safety at all times. To setting and running of a machine for paper bags with handles.
• Examine and inspect paper bags in order to ensure that the paper bags & packing specifications are met.
• Follow product, packaging, and other information on specified forms.
• Place products in packaging. Remove completed products into specified area i.e. warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and tidy are (work changing room, canteen etc.)
• Trained in producing quality papers bags in accordance with customer specifications.
• Trained in the set up and operation of paper bag machines.
• Trained in monitoring product to the company standard level of quality control.
• Trained in all aspects of repairing any minor problems that occur during production
• Trained to follow how to fault fins and rectify the fault in all areas of the paper bag machine.
