Occupational Therapy Aide

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy
• Full registration with APHC
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a hospital or eldercare institution

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments for patient’s pre-admission
• Conduct periodic reviews with suitable therapy treatments for Holistic Individual Care Plan
• Execute group therapy programme and activities for patients
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions
• Plan and execute group therapy programme and activities for patients
• Able to assist patients who display behavioural issues
• Review and revise programme schedule for therapy program with proper documentation
• Have knowledge of dementia issues and able to manage patients who display behavioral problems.
• Foster close and warm relationships with patients’ families and caregivers
