Our employer Jash Technical Services is in need of the following:

MV / LV SME

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Management can be advantage
• 7 years of experience in MV and LV electrical systems, with a focus on system design, maintenance, and project management

Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge of MV systems, including distribution, protection, and control of medium voltage electrical networks (typically 1 kV to 36 kV)
• Understanding of LV systems, including distribution, protection, and control of low voltage electrical networks (up to 1 kV)
• Familiarity with national and international electrical standards and regulations, such as IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes
• Knowledge of power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection relays
• Understanding of electrical safety practices, including isolation procedures, hazard identification, and safe work practices
• Expertise in the design and implementation of MV and LV electrical systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and regulatory standards
• Proficiency in the maintenance and troubleshooting of MV and LV systems, including diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance
• Experience in managing electrical projects related to MV and LV systems, including installations, upgrades, and system integration
• Skills in ensuring that electrical systems comply with relevant standards and regulations, including conducting inspections, testing, and certification
• Knowledge of energy management practices and technologies, including load management, efficiency improvements, and energy monitoring
• Expertise in implementing safety protocols and risk management strategies to protect personnel and equipment from electrical hazards
