Mixing In-Charge

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Knowledge of mixing equipment and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Have ability to check color in light box and adjust color in mixing.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage the team.
• Computer Skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, ETC), Email writing.
• Training skills to train the new and old workers to work in the most efficient way

Responsibilities:

• Fulfil the mixing of components as per the formula provided by the company cost effectively and efficiently.
• Inspecting the quality of production and alerting the Production Manager
• Maintain production records and ensure extruder personnel are completing records accurately. Perform daily inspect of finished products before they are shipped
• Inspecting the quality of the machinery and reporting equipment failures to the maintenance department.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products
• Monitor and assess employee performance.
• Complete Shift activity reports and submit to Production Manager.
• Relieve team members as needed (breaks, lunches, absent team member)
• Initiate, recommend, investigate, troubleshoot and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to products, processes and quality systems
• Review production schedules, work orders, and other records/reports to determine production requirement and to evaluate current production workload.
• Develop methods to utilize personnel and resources in the best possible ways
• Develop and maintain cost-effective processes to increase productivity and employee satisfaction, while reducing waste.
• Manage and/or adjust work procedures to meet production requirements
• Work closely with the Maintenance department to ensure equipment maintenance is scheduled at the most opportune times, in order to minimize downtime and maximize production output
• Develop, support and motivate production employees in applying our values.
• Interpret and enforce company policies, safety regulations and operating procedures
• Analyze and resolve work problems and assist staff in solving problems.
• Maintain housekeeping at a high level in Extrusion area, through the involvement of all employees
• Maintain a positive, respectful and open communication with team members
