MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Male, 25 – 45 years old
  • At least high school graduate
  • With atleast 3 years experience

Responsibilities:

  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
  • Apply professional tasks of limited scope and complexity, such as minor phases of broader assignments, in office or field.
  • Report to one up manager, perform work and exercises individual judgment and initiative in the application of principles, techniques, and methods.
  • Carry out tasks requiring accuracy and adherence to prescribed methods of engineering analysis, design, or computation.
  • Draw upon advanced techniques and methods learned during and after the undergraduate course and office experience.
  • Make decisions relating to tasks performed, relying upon precedent or defined procedures for guidance.
  • Making recommendations relating to solution of problems in connection to the tasks performed.
  • Apply purchasing and inventory control requirements.
  • Identify and extract information from internal and external sources
  • Create new files and records. Apply data entry into appropriate software’s.
  • Apply one or more computer software packages developed for a micro personal computer or a central computer resource.
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned duties on projects
  • Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specification as required.
  • Determines aspects of project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates under senior project engineer/manager supervision and approval.
  • Determines aspects of project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements under senior project engineer/manager supervision and approval.
  • Making recommendations relating to solution of problems in connection to the tasks performed.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems under senior project engineer/manager supervision and approval
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions under senior project engineer/manager supervision and approval
  • Order expenditure/resources for aspects of projects under project engineer/manager supervision and approval.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions to senior project engineers/managers.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Apply professional tasks of limited scope and complexity, such as minor/major phases of broader assignments, in office or field.
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
  • Manage project scopes and changes when and where required.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel as and when required.
  • Supervises other graduate project engineers (if & When Required) and site admin, reviews their work and reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported work or project deficiencies
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and reporting to Senior Management.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel as and when required.
