LONGLINE FISHING

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Longline Fishing
• Experienced in deploying and setting, monitoring and retrieving long lines to catch fish
• Must be able to handle and prepare fish on board vessel
• Mus be able to maintain and repair fishing gear like lines, hooks and buoys
• Must be able to work in all weather, day/night, for long periods at sea and okay with harsh conditions
• Must have basic safety knowledge, team player and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
• Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English test (IELTS or PTE Academic)
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive a four-wheeled vehicle
