Locksmith (Mechanical Assembly)

Qualifications:

• Education in technical field
• Experience in relevant technical field min. 5 years (in rolling stock industry advantage)
• Knowledge of technical documentation
• Knowledge of technological documentation (drawings, instructions, dispatch form)
• Manual dexterity
• Working with tools
• Knowledge of special processes, e.g. end pressing, tightening torques
• English on communication level is required.

Responsibilities:

• Locksmith work related to the assembly and modification of machine parts and machinery according to the company’s production plan.
• Mechanical assembly of assemblies and sub-assemblies according to production documentation, plan and supervisor’s instructions
• Locksmith work (grinding, drilling, cutting, threading – cutting, repairing, broaching, etc.)
• Other activities related to the assembly of rolling stock (cleaning, bonding, cementing, insulating, adjusting and splicing of cladding parts, etc.)
• Reading and using production and technical documentation
• Working with electric hand tools (drill, grinder)
• Working in the MES system – deriving production orders and standard hours from production documentation
• Compliance with HSE, Fire safety and rules set at the workplace
