MRK is seeking an experienced Lead Instrument & Control (I&C) Engineer to oversee the planning, design, implementation, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems for complex industrial projects. The role involves technical leadership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.

Lead Instrument & Control Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading I&C teams on large-scale industrial projects; ARAMCO experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of process control systems, PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and instrumentation design standards.
  • Proficient in engineering software for I&C design, simulation, and documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and industry safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Instrumentation & Control engineering team in the design, installation, and commissioning of I&C systems.
  • Develop and review I&C project plans, schedules, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform design verification, system testing, and troubleshooting for control systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior I&C engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Support procurement and vendor evaluation for instrumentation and control equipment.
