Lathe/Milling Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have passports
• Can Communicate through English
• Knowledgeable workplace safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
• Must understand how various materials, including metals and plastics, react to machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
• Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and quality in machined parts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the lathe machine by installing and adjusting cutting tools, chucks, collets, or other fixtures.
• Safely load metal, wood, raw materials, and other items into the lathe machine.
• Perform turning operations such as facing, taper turning, straight turning, and profiling as per engineering drawings or specifications.
• Monitor machining process to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of finished parts.
• Keep detailed records of production runs, including any issues or modifications
• Operate lathe and milling machines to produce precision parts and components
