Lathe and Milling Operator

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Solid understanding of machine techniques and metal/stone properties
• Knowledge of machine maintenance procedures and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and precision in machining operations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle machining tasks and materials

Responsibilities:

• Operate lathe and milling machines to shape, cut, and finish metal and stone components.
• Set up machines based on technical drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
• Interpret blue prints and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Measure and inspect machined parts to ensure accuracy and conformance to technical specifications.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality finishes, especially on components for quarry and marble machinery.
• Document work performed ,including machine settings and quality control results.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal operation
