Junior Cook (Hot Kitchen)

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a cook or kitchen assistant is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen safety practices
• Interest in Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn traditional cooking methods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food quality.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of Japanese hot kitchen dishes such as tempura, teriyaki, udon, donburi, and other menu items.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and stovetops, safely and efficiently.
• Properly measure, portion, and prepare ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Actively seek opportunities to learn about Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients
