Injection Molding Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 4 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that all machines within the scope of responsibility are kept running and producing quality bottles while insuring the least amount of down-time possible. This includes communicating problems to on-coming shift personnel
• Responsible for completing all mold changes and set-ups.
• Minor maintenance activities are required.
• Demonstrate organizational ability to complete daily clean-up assignments, and adequately maintain good housekeeping throughout the entire area of responsibility
• Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding and recognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustments to correct quality defects.
• Maintains all required documentation of quality checks and testing, process checks, downtime, housekeeping and data entry
• Displays a full understanding and working knowledge of all related software and other equipment required for efficient production of quality product.
• Follows all established safety rules and guidelines.
• Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and Supervisors.
• Properly uses all required personal protective equipment
