Industrial Electrician

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent, with a focus on Electrical.
• Certified as a licensed electrician or industrial electrician, with the appropriate state or local licenses.
• 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Skilled in the use of electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, ammeters, and megohmeters.
• Familiar with industrial electrical systems, components, and control devices.
• Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and specialized electrical equipment

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electrical systems and components, including motors, transformers, switchgear, control panels, and industrial machinery.
• Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to understand the design and operation of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, identify the root cause, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including inspections, testing, and cleaning.
• Install, program, and maintain industrial control systems, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all electrical work performed, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, production teams, and outside contractors to coordinate electrical projects and minimize downtime.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on the latest electrical technologies and industry best practices.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues and provide on-call support as needed
