Heavy Diesel Fitter

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Diesel Fitter Mechanic
• Experience with mobile plant mechanics maintain, test, and repair diesel engines and mechanical parts of crushing plant equipment.
• Has documents to support your visa application.
• Excellent in English Communication skills
• Overseas experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on crushing plant equipment to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and addressing mechanical issues, faults, or breakdowns in crushers, screens, and conveyors.
• Removing, repairing, or replacing damaged or worn-out components to maintain the operational integrity of the crushing plant machinery.
• Performing inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and machinery condition for documentation purposes.
• Adhering strictly to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies while operating and maintaining heavy machinery.
• Working closely with supervisors, engineers, and team members to discuss maintenance schedules, equipment status, and any necessary repairs or adjustments.
