FURNACE OPERATOR

Qualifications

• Male Applicants
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience

Responsibilities

• Mixing the correct quantities of silica sand and sodium carbonate using the electronic system (PLC).
• The required percentage of solid glass “produced” by smelting processes.
• Transfer the mixed raw materials to the appropriate container.
• Select and feed the mixed raw materials to the oven by entering the required
  quantity into the system from the container.
• The occasion is according to the attached table.
• Follow the appropriate fuel flow schedule in the “burner” during the pouring, cooking and feeding process in order to complete it.
• The process of melting materials in the furnace.
• Monitor the water level in the cooling unit tanks, control that, and use the appropriate amount of water to cool the casting track.
• Opening and closing the casting holes according to the schedule.
• Clean the chimney box from materials falling from the oven at the appropriate time.
• Taking samples of the product according to the schedule.
• Transferring the product to the appropriate containers using the suspended crane.
• Recording reports on the operation of the incinerator, and for other works (mixing, feeding, pouring).Time cycle for melting materials.
