FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Qualifications:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in similar position within Food industry
  • Experience as a chef is seen as a strong advantage
  • You are at least a high-school graduate with an educational background in Food Science preferably
  • Good level of English (B1/B2) to effectively communicate with team members
  • Good physical condition to meet the demands of the role
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to changes and follow rules
  • Knowledge of the metric system (liter, gram, etc.)
  • Ability to work full-time with a 40-hour workweek and rotating 3 shift system

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and cooks various dishes (vegetarian, fish, meat) according to production requirements
  • Assist in the manufacturing process by adding raw materials
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure product consistency and adherence to standards
  • Package finished products for distribution
  • Perform general warehouse duties as required
  • Taking care of product safety and occupational safety in accordance with the quality system.

    I have always been captivated by the world of food and the art of cooking. My journey into the culinary field began at Restaurant and in the cruise ship where I earned more awards. During my time there, I immersed myself in all aspects of culinary experience. I learned the fundamental techniques such as knife skills, proper ingredient handling, and various cooking methods like sautéing, roasting, and braising. My instructors, who were seasoned chefs with extensive industry experience, not only imparted theoretical knowledge but also practical wisdom that has been invaluable to me.

    I have also gained hands-on experience through internships and These experiences allowed me to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where I learned the importance of teamwork, time management, and maintaining high-quality standards. I was responsible for tasks such as preparing ingredients, assisting the senior chefs with menu items, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of my work station.
