Fire Detection and Alarm Design Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Protection or Fire Safety Engineering or Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent acceptable by User Organization.
• Passing National Licensure or equivalent will be beneficial
• Knowledgeable in electrical design calculation related software
• Shall be well verse with related International Engineering and Construction Codes and Standards including International Fire Code, National Electrical Code and National Fire Protection
• 10 years of experience from the date of qualification in design and engineering office as fire detection and alarm design engineer

Responsibilities:

• Identifying fire hazards and determining the risks associated with fire in a facility
• Designing fire detection systems and fire protection systems such as sprinklers and fire alarms
• Developing plans and specifications for fire protection systems in new buildings and renovations
