Finance Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Qualification such as Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in accounting field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in petroleum or logistics industry is preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software programs.
- ISM knowledge is preferred.
- Adept knowledge of basic accounting functions as they relate to tax processes, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers and benefits administration.
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
- Good command of the English language in verbal and written form.
Responsibilities:
- Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Management
- Review and update internal controls and accounting systems, utilizing modern technology.
- Prepare monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss, KPIs) for management by analyzing accounting data.
- Monitor receivables and ensure processing controls are in place.
- Track and advise on capital (Capex) and operational expenses (Opex), ensuring compliance with budgets.
- Analyze financial data to advise on trends, business operations, revenue, and expenses.
- Manage tax calculations and ensure tax reporting and payments are accurate and timely.
- Monitor cash flow and advise on effective utilization of surplus funds.
- Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements and manage payroll database oversight.
- Planning
- Provide data and support for strategic business planning, including capital investment and business development.
- Monitor capital investments and expense budgets, evaluating ROI.
- Analyze financial data for operational improvements, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance.
- Recommend improvements based on audits and financial analyses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, proposing changes as needed.
- Administrative Functions
- Manage insurance policies and research to ensure competitive premiums.
- Oversee contracts with customers, contractors, and service providers, ensuring timely revenue collection.
- Administer leases and maintain current contract values for capital and service contracts.
- Compliance and Auditing
- Implement recommendations from business meetings and audits.
- Maintain communication with authorities in line with company objectives.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and registration requirements.
- Leadership and Cross-functional Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support to enhance core functions within the organization.
- Foster teamwork, ensuring collaboration and accountability within the team.
- Manage staff activities through subordinate supervisors, ensuring efficient daily operations and compliance with policies.
- Serve on committees and participate in task forces for decision-making and information exchange.
- Operating Environment
- Work in an office setting, with potential overtime or weekend work for special programs.
- Physical requirements may include lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
