Elevator Technician

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, often supplemented by vocational training or apprenticeship programs.
• Experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders.
• With a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot problems and comply with safety regulations.
• Ability to understand and work with mechanical systems, blueprints, and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Performing regular inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure smooth and safe elevator operation.
• Diagnosing and fixing malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Identifying the root cause of problems and developing solutions.
• Ensuring elevators meet safety standards, conducting safety tests, and responding to emergencies.
  Maintaining accurate records of service activities and repairs
