Electrical Technician II

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • High School Diploma holder in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
  • Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third- party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
  • Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
  • Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills with large organizations
  • Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems Strategic management skills

Responsibilities:

  • To Execute activities of maintenance focused in compliance with the preventive and predictive maintenance plan and an efficient and effective development of breakdown maintenance on electrical systems, equipment and facilities within his area
  • Coordinate with Electrical Supervisor the execution of monthly and weekly maintenance plan.
  • Control SAP PM Notification backlog.
  • Submit progress reports to Electrical Supervisor, on a regular basis.
  • Execute maintenance activities in accordance to standards, specifications, safety procedures, manufacturer’s recommendation and contract terms.
  • Execute day to-day electrical maintenance activities on all electrical systems plant, equipment and facilities within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Ensure, complies and applied Safety and Quality procedures, during the execution of electrical maintenance activities.
  • Ensure a proper execution of work and check on the activities engaged in routine maintenance activities.
  • Carryout repairing and troubleshooting activities on electrical assets are carried out in timely and quality manner that helps increase the availability and reliability of these systems.
  • Receive work directions from the respective Electrical Supervisor, in relation to electrical systems maintenance orders/requests.
  • Follow-up on electrical maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the respective Electrical Supervisor.
  • Keep a record of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports
  • Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures and regulations and ensure that all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken care of during conducting maintenance works.
  • Perform the readings of partial discharge capacitor in HV motor.
  • Perform on line analysis of current signature of motors.
  • Perform testing on all kinds of transformer
