Our employer in Saudi Arabia is in need of the following position:

Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To provide electrical hands on service in respect of maintenance and repair of Container handling equipment, ensuring their correct and efficient operation at all times.
• Additionally and as required to repair and maintain other equipment within the terminal.
• To ensure that all terminal requirements in respect of the auto electrical aspects of terminal equipment are met and to maintain the highest standards of work quality and throughput consistent with the availability of resources, also to identify problem areas and advise his superiors accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of Container handling equipment and facilities within the terminal.
• Immediate response for any breakdown call from other section in same department or other departments.
• Ensuring that work is performed to the highest standard consistent with resources, the time available and with operational requirements.
• Identifying problem areas and advising his superiors accordingly.
• Responsible for detailed parts and material identification to fulfill his duties and, as directed, for the acquisition of the parts and materials from stores.
• Communicating effectively with superiors and as necessary well as other department’s staff to ensure that information relating to the repair and maintenance of equipment is available when required.
• Ensuring that full and complete information is provided to enable records to be maintained to facilitate planning and analysis.
• Carrying out work safely and according to workshop, company and port rules and regulations.
• Any other duties or assignments as required from time to time by management.
• Planning of maintenance schedule and follow up all necessary job required for maintenance and repair
• To ensure any spare parts availability required for maintenance and repair and issuing the parts from store.
• If any parts are not available, report to superior for this next step.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• Salary Range: SR3654 / USD 1945
