Downstream Foreman

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science Discipline w/ 1 yr. exp. /or Associate Degree in Science Discipline w/ 3 yrs. exp. /or Technical Diploma / Certificate Course w/ 5 yrs. exp /or High School w/ 8 yrs. exp.
• Good communication skills in English & Arabic

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and controlling welding activity, pipe process line up of spiral Pipe mill, and ensuring pipe and weld quality as per required standard.
• Ensure all welding equipment and machines is in good and safe operating condition.
• Sound knowledge of the SMAW welding process, Spiral pipe standards quality requirements, and tolerances
• Supervised and trained Welders, Grinderman, and machine operators to improve the quality and quantity of work performed to enhance skill and productive
• Supervising and allocating workman and operators
• Assisting production engineers with corrective measures to improve quality and productivity
• Led rotating shift schedule and supervise welding repair, hydro tester, beveling operations, and maintenance personnel daily activities
• Provide support and direction for good manufacturing, housekeeping, and safety standards
• Implementation of procedures, work instructions and monitoring of corrective and preventive measures for quality issues
