Digital Printing Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating digital printing machines (e.g., UV, laser, or inkjet printers).
• Understanding of color theory, image resolution, and print production processes.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Knowledge of different printing materials, finishes, and techniques.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capability to lift and move materials or substrates as required.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, calibrate, and operate digital printing machines for various print projects.
• Review print orders and specifications to determine appropriate print settings.
• Perform pre-press operations such as image alignment, color adjustment, and substrate preparation.
• Monitor printing processes to ensure accurate output and resolve any errors or quality issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Manage ink levels, substrates, and other consumables, ensuring adequate stock.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or delays.
• Perform quality checks on printed materials, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with designers and production staff to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
