DIESEL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• This job requires male applicants
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Make major and minor engine repairs, and work on a vehicle’s electrical and exhaust systems to comply with pollution regulations. Diesel engine maintenance and repair is becoming more complex as engines and other components use more electronic system
• Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines in vehicles and heavy equipment, including trucks, buses, forklifts, and construction machinery
• Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, replacing worn parts, and utilizing diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards; requiring a strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics,
