Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our team and help maintain our fleet of HGV tractor units, trailers, vans, cars, cranes, forklifts, MEWPs, and teleporters – the backbone of our daily operations. 

Diesel Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Familiarity with maintaining HGVs and other large equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems.
• Experience driving or moving HGVs is an advantage (full road license preferred but not required).

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including diagnostics, fault analysis, and component replacements (engine, steering, transmission, brakes, suspension, and lighting).
• Conduct preventative maintenance (e.g., tyre rotation, oil changes) to keep our fleet running efficiently.
• Maintain detailed service records for all vehicles.
• Source and order vehicle parts as needed.
• Adhere to VOSA requirements for eight-weekly and six-weekly checks.
• Occasionally assist with on-site or highway breakdowns.
