Design Engineer (Telecommunication)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, specifically within DBSP & PP stages.
  • Experience supporting FEED and EPC stages.
  • Mandatory experience working on Aramco projects or with Aramco standards and procedures.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong understanding of early-stage project scopes, design basis development, and engineering deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Aramco codes, standards, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering design and analysis for assigned discipline in accordance with project requirements, Aramco standards, and international codes.
  • Develop and review key design deliverables such as design basis, technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, layouts, and calculations.
    Support early project stages including DBSP, PP, FEED, and EPC execution.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated and compliant design solutions.
  • Participate in technical meetings, model reviews, and design workshops with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and project schedule expectations.
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments when required.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve discipline-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure designs incorporate safety, operability, constructability, and cost-efficiency considerations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Aramco standards, project procedures, and engineering practices.
