Control System Technician

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong experience with SCADA, PLC, DCS, ESD, RTUs, Fire & Gas Systems, Metering & Proving Systems, and Vibration Monitoring Systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB, Emerson, Yokogawa, GE control systems.
• Experience in HAZOP studies, MOC, factory/site acceptance testing, and conceptual design reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Control Systems or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8–10 years of experience in control systems, preferably in the oil and gas or process industry.
• Strong hands-on expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA, ESD, Fire & Gas Systems, CGT/Power Generator & Compressor Control Systems, Leak Detection Systems (LDS), and Metering Control Systems.
• Experience with Gas Compressor Control Systems (GE Mark Vie), Safety Systems (GE Mark VIES), Over Speed Protection (Torquetronic 800), and PROMEL Fire & Gas Systems.
• Proficiency in hardware interfacing, instrumentation troubleshooting, SCADA & DCS simulations, control applications, software scripting, and security configurations.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Ability to contribute to disaster recovery planning, compliance assessments, and adherence to Saudi Aramco standards.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
