COMMISSIONING LOW CURRENT TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience
- Must have the experience in commissioning works
Responsibilities:
- Install or upgrade fire alarms in commercial and residential buildings
- Test and repair alarm systems already in place
- Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code
- Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues
- Respond to emergency service calls Inspect and repair heat detectors and sprinkler heads
- Review electrical layout blueprints to determine whether the fire alarm systems comply with the electrical and fire safety codes
- Install and maintain fire alarm systems including smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and other fire suppression equipment
- Inspect commercial buildings for fire hazards such as blocked exits or malfunctioning equipment
