Qualifications

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Proven experience as cook
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
• Must be familiar with western cuisine and cooking methods for popular western dishes (pizza, pasta, steaks, roast meats etc.)

Job Description

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients, and monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Cleans and maintains station while practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, chillers, and all storage areas
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment within station
• Operating a combination oven with skill (training will be provided for this)
• Be able to communicate effectively with the floor staff
• Performs any additional responsibilities, as directed by Management

• Cert of Employment (COE)
• VOTERS CERTIFICATE
• UMID
• NBI
