Job Description:

• Cartographers and photogrammetrists collect, measure, and interpret geographic information in order to create and update maps and charts for regional planning, education, and other purposes
• Play an essential role in the process of collecting and visualizing geographic data.
• They use this expertise in geographic data to create detailed maps for individuals, organizations and government entities
• Creates and updates user-friendly maps that reflect Earth’s current geographic conditions. If there are any substantial changes to a piece of land, it’s the cartographer’s job to make corresponding map adjustments
