Carpenter-Technicians & Trade Coordinator & Supervisors

Qualifications:

• Must be Post Secondary or Vocational
• Proven experience as a Construction Technician or similar role.
• Excellent skills in communication and problem-solving.
• Capability to operate construction machinery safely.
• Physical stamina and strength, required to handle the gross motor skills involved with construction tasks
• Must have experience in a construction role or internship can be critical for gaining practical skills in the field
• 5 years of work experience installing fixtures & wiring and managing a working crew

Responsibilities:

• Check floor plan drawings to ensure compliance with applicable building codes and overall project requirements.
• Order, receive, and inspect materials required for the job.
• Work execution per Project Work Order, Installation of building components to include walls, floors & roof panels, and cabinet fixtures.
• Maintain tools in safe and good working order. Conduct crew safety meetings.
• Ensure that the work area is always clean and good housekeeping is maintained.
• Conduct On-The-Job training for workers in areas where they are not fully proficient to expand their capabilities and usefulness to the organization
• Other duties as directed by Project Manager
