CARPENTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Possess a valid TESDA certificate in Carpentry
• With relevant experience in the shipyard or onboard vessel.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and address issues such as leakage, squeaking, and warping.
• Conduct interior and exterior carpentry, including cutting and assembly of boat parts like doors, panels, and boxes, as well as the installation of customized components like hatches and marine hardware.
• Execute precise wood and material cuts using power-cutting tools.
• Perform teak deck installation and maintenance.
• Work with marine epoxies and adhesives, including material preparation, proper mixing and application, gluing and bonding, joint fabrication, basic fiberglass repairs, and safe cleanup and disposal.
