BUYER

Qualifications:

• Two years’ experience preferred.
• APICS or NAPM certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education, training, or experience.

Responsibilities:

• Source and manage components to support production and prototype builds, ensuring optimal pricing, lead times, quality resolution, delivery, and inventory management.
• Support MPS loading decisions through accurate materials sizing.
• Analyze, maintain, and execute MRP while monitoring and addressing materials supply issues.
• Ensure material availability for production via MRP execution, on-time delivery, and movement coordination.
• Minimize material liabilities by defining ownership, tracking customer liabilities, and leveraging supplier agreements.
• Issue POs aligned with negotiated terms and ensure supplier compliance.
• Optimize order management and maintain master data integrity to balance procurement costs with inventory levels.
• Monitor and improve supplier delivery, quality, and resolve recurring issues with corrective actions.
• Support Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies.
• Contribute to Jabil’s commodity and pricing strategy, providing supplier performance feedback.
• Minimize freight costs and track supplier performance on delivery, quality, and service.
• Adhere to safety, health, and company security policies.
