BUDGETING & FORECASTING SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

• Professional financial qualification e.g. CFA is preferred
• Solid knowledge and experience in Reporting and good experience in accounting/financial software
• Knowledge of accounts posting and computer terminal operations
• Previous experience in steel industry financials and best practices is a plus
• Experience in SAP FI CO / B1 / SAP PS – Budget Management Module is required

Responsibilities:

• Develop company financial forecasts based on strategic and business plans
• Review and design budget templates and forms and secure approval form the Financial Accounting and Control manager
• Collect bottom-up budgets from departments and compile and prepare summary reports for reconciliations
• Attend reconciliation meetings with Heads of Departments, analyze data to check compliance and escalate major deviations to the Financial Accounting and Control manager
• Assist the Senior Management and other Company departments (when needed) in preparing financial projections and analyses (e.g., cash flow analyses, sales analyses, etc.)
• Assist corporate Finance Director in conducting fund raising transactions, financial due diligences, and preparing financial compliance reports and information
• Set budget targets for all company departments and prepare budget reports for timely submission to the Financial Accounting and Control manager
• Document all sources of information used and ensure reliability of each
• Analyze spends on new projects and prepare budgets accordingly and seek new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits
