Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the safe handling, transportation, and storage of explosives.
• Good knowledge of mine safety procedures and explosive-related regulations
• Physical fitness and ability to work in confined, underground environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and instructions.
• Basic mechanical skills or experience with blasting tools and equipment is a plus.
• Candidate must have a passport.
• Must know how to communicate in English.

Responsibilities:

• Collect explosives from the warehouse at the beginning of each shift.
• Use explosives in the blasting process as instructed by the employer.
• Strictly adhere to mine safety regulations and rules regarding explosive materials.
• Work closely with the beam miner to inspect and secure the work area before ore beaming begins.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with legal and company requirements related to explosive use
• Ensure that alblasting activities are performed under the supervision of a qualified miner or driller.
