Automotive Manual Transmission Technician

Qualifications:

• 25 years old and above
• Must be fit to work
• 5+ years of verifiable, consistent & proven work experience
• With overseas experience is a plus
• At least one (1) year of vocational or college education is preferred to exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL or PTE). However, candidates who have not completed this level of education will be required to take one of these English language tests.
• With VALID passport

Responsibilities:

• Disassembling and inspecting transmissions: Breaking down manual transmissions into their individual components for inspection and repair.
• Repairing transmission components: Replacing worn or damaged parts, such as gears, bearings, and synchros.
• Reassembling transmissions: Putting manual transmissions back together, ensuring that all components are properly aligned and secured.
• Testing transmissions: Testing repaired or rebuilt transmissions to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Installing transmissions: Installing manual transmissions into vehicles or machinery.
• Troubleshooting transmission problems: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise with manual transmissions.
• Adhering to safety regulations: Following industry standards and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
