AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering (Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 2 years in automation or MES engineering, with electrical experience; familiarity with instrumentation, PLC/HMI programming, and low-voltage installations.
• Proficiency in process control, loop tuning, PLC troubleshooting, and automation programming; knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
• Understanding of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) and Quality Management policies, along with food safety and hygienic engineering practices.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to update and maintain technical documentation accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Factory Automation Systems (FAS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve automation and electrical issues.
• Maintain and enhance automation documentation, including diagrams and software, and implement continuous improvement initiatives for optimized plant performance.
