Our employer Jash Technical Services is in need of the following:

AERODROME TECHNICAL LEAD

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• A Master’s degree in Airport Management and Aviation Safety can be advantage
• Experience in contract management, preferably within facilities management or airports
• Professional Certifications can be advantage: Certified Member ICAO Aerodrome Certification, Pavement Management Certification, Safety Management Systems Certification

Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive understanding of aerodrome operations, including runway and taxiway management, airside safety, and airfield maintenance
• In-depth knowledge of international and local aviation regulations, such as ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards
• Familiarity with technical standards for airport infrastructure, including lighting systems (e.g., PAPI lights), navigation aids, pavement management, and other critical airfield systems
• Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) principles and practices, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety performance monitoring in the context of aerodrome operations
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices related to airfield operations, such as wildlife management, noise abatement, and pollution control
• Expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of airfield infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and associated systems
• Experience in managing the aerodrome certification process, ensuring that the airport meets all regulatory requirements for safe operations
• Skills in managing technical projects related to aerodrome infrastructure, including upgrades, repairs, and new installations
• Proficiency in developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and managing risks associated with airside operations
• Ability to coordinate with air traffic control, airlines, ground services, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe aerodrome operations
• Experience in developing and executing emergency response plans for aerodrome incidents, such as runway incursions, accidents, or environmental hazards
