We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and skilled Barista to join our team! As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality coffee and beverages. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.
Barista
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in the related field
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about brewing techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide menu recommendations.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in accordance with company recipes and standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including countertops, equipment, and seating areas.
- Process payments through the point-of-sale system and handle cash and credit transactions securely.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist in training new team members as needed.
- Promote store specials, loyalty programs, and seasonal products to customers.
